Oumar Diakité, a 22-year-old Ivorian centre-forward, is in very advanced discussions with Schalke 04. He is under contract with Reims until June 2028 and has a valuation of 5 million euros on Transfermarkt. Diakité joined Reims in July 2023. For Cote d'Ivoire, he has 31 caps and 6 goals. During the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, he made 54 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists.
