RC Strasbourg is pursuing Othmane Maamma, a Moroccan-French national, and is in competition with several English clubs for the player. Clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford, and Sunderland have been monitoring the 20-year-old attacking midfielder. They watched him during a recent Watford match in which he started, played for 70 minutes, and was involved in his team's second goal. It is reported that Watford is demanding a transfer fee of more than 10 million euros for Maamma, whom Strasbourg considers a suitable player for their recruitment strategy to strengthen their midfield.
