On the Meczyki.pl channel, Jarosław Gambal of Cracovia's sports division revealed that an offer for Oskar Wójcik was submitted by Brøndby during the winter transfer window. Gambal stated that although the player considered accepting the offer, an agreement was not reached and the transaction did not proceed. Gambal also confirmed that Brøndby's offer was not a secret.

In a conversation with Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl, Robert Platek stated that Oskar Wójcik had received significant interest in recent weeks. Platek said he had received calls from two other serious clubs concerning Wójcik. When questioned about talks with Brøndby, Platek confirmed receiving calls but stated that they did not want to sell Wójcik at this time. Platek added that there were no indications from Oskar Wójcik of a desire to leave at this time, and therefore they were happy to keep him.

The deal for Oskar Wójcik's transfer to Brøndby was reportedly at such an advanced stage that it caused Widzew Łódź to withdraw from pursuing the player. On the Meczyki.pl channel, journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk stated that although the player has an agreement with the team from Copenhagen, Cracovia is unwilling to consent to the transfer. Wójcik has reportedly agreed on the terms of a personal contract, but the Polish club has not given its approval. Indications from the club suggest that they are unwilling to allow him to leave in the winter. Włodarczyk conveyed that the negotiations are at the ownership level and that, for now, the player is remaining with his club.

According to meczyki.pl, Broendby holds an interest in Oskar Wójcik. The Danish club has reportedly made an offer of three million euros and has initiated contract talks. Discussions between the owners of both clubs are still ongoing and a decision has not yet been made.
