In an exclusive interview with RÉCORD, Óscar Jiménez acknowledged he would be willing to return to América, a team where he spent eight years of his career and for which he has a special affection. The 37-year-old Mexican goalkeeper recalled that he experienced many good years and extraordinary things with the club, which he said had provided him with an opportunity. He stated that if the opportunity were to arise at some point and the club wanted to have him back, he would like to play for them again. However, Jiménez made it clear that his present is with Atlante, confirming he is fully committed to the Potros de Hierro and that his intention is to continue there for several years. Jiménez joined Atlante in July 2026 and has a current market value of €50k, according to Transfermarkt.
