Bournemouth has concluded an agreement with Chelsea to recruit Đorđe Petrovic for 29 million euros. The Serbian international has been authorized to undergo a medical examination with Bournemouth before signing a five-year contract. Bournemouth was seeking a new number 1 goalkeeper following the departure of Kepa Arrizabalaga to Chelsea and subsequent sale to Arsenal. Petrovic desired a starting position after a successful season at Strasbourg, but Chelsea had no other option than to sell him.

Chelsea have received an official opening offer from Bournemouth for backup goalkeeper Đorđe Petrović, according to Fabrizio Romano. Sunderland are also thought to be monitoring the prodigious shot-stopper.
