Plymouth has identified Sowunmi as a potential new leader for its defensive unit. Plymouth faces competition to sign the player from its League One rivals Bolton Wanderers and Barnsley. Additionally, Oxford United from the Championship are said to be interested, and Scottish club Aberdeen are also reportedly interested in a transfer for the defender in the summer.
