Aris is nearing an agreement with Nottingham Forest for the acquisition of 28-year-old English left full-back Omar Richards. The defender, who has previously played in Greece for Olympiacos, is in advanced discussions with the club. Negotiations with both the player and Nottingham Forest, which acquired his rights in the summer of 2022 for €8.5 million, are reportedly near completion, and it is expected that he will move to Thessaloniki. Richards, who has one cap for the England U21 team, recently returned from a loan spell at Rio Ave FC. His contract with Forest runs until 2027, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €2.00m. Portsmouth had also been recently linked with the player.
