Omar Alderete leaving Getafe?

Omar Alderete has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League, as stated by his agent Renato Bittar. However, Vincenzo Italiano, the coach of Bolonia, has requested the signing of the Paraguayan defender to replace Martin Erlic. As of now, no conversations have started between Getafe and Bolonia, but the transfer window is still open. Alderete has a contract with Getafe until 2028 with a release clause of 16 million euros. Despite being comfortable in Madrid, Alderete is open to new professional challenges and does not dismiss the option of moving to Serie A.

Getafe is considering selling Omar Alderete to improve their financial situation.

During his visit to Madrid, Jose Antonio 'Tato' Noriega also visited the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez to probe Getafe about the possible transfer of Omar Alderete. Alderete is considered a key player for coach José Bordalás, and Getafe is not currently considering releasing him.

Renato Bittar, the agent of Omar Alderete, confirmed that there are four clubs from England interested in signing Alderete. He mentioned that Alderete deserves praise and offers due to his good season with Getafe. Bittar stated, 'There are four clubs in England that want him. It's time to make the move. If not now, he will leave Getafe in the summer.'

Tottenham is genuinely interested in signing Omar Alderete from Getafe, with the player having a tempting exit clause in his contract.
