French centre-forward Olivier Giroud, 39, is currently under contract with LOSC until the end of the season. In an interview, Giroud stated that the discussion with the club will happen soon and that nothing is done. He said that one has to take advantage as long as one can play and the conditions are right, adding they will see if his body follows. Giroud also mentioned that all conditions have to be met, everyone has to be confident, the club has to have needs, and that there is no option. Giroud has not excluded the possibility of becoming a television consultant during the 2026 World Cup. The striker, who has 137 caps and 57 goals for France, joined LOSC Lille in July 2025 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.00m.
