Werder Bremen has included Oleksandr Romanchuk of Universitatea Craiova on its long list of defenders.

Oleksandr Romanchuk, a 26-year-old Ukrainian central defender, is reportedly close to a transfer to Bremen. It is said that negotiations are well advanced, with a transfer fee between two and three million euros under discussion. Romanchuk is under contract with the Romanian top club Universitatea Craiova until 2028. He joined the Conference League participant last summer for 750,000 euros from his Ukrainian homeland. In the current SuperLiga season, he has made 23 appearances, scoring 3 goals. The former Ukraine U21 international has 3 caps and a current market value of €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
