Dynamo Kyiv may sign their former player, 26-year-old Ukrainian centre-back Oleksandr Romanchuk, who currently plays for the Romanian club Universitatea. Romanchuk is on the Kyiv club's transfer list, with the transfer fee estimated at three million euros, a sum which Universitatea is demanding for the footballer. He joined the club in July 2025 for a fee of €750,000, and his contract is valid until June 2028. Recent reports on his valuation have varied, with an asking price of at least €2 million mentioned in May 2026 after a potential fee between €2 million and €3 million was discussed a month prior. In addition to Dynamo Kyiv, Werder Bremen is also reported to be interested in the defender, who has not yet been capped for the Ukrainian national team. His current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
