Vålerenga have been in talks with Celtic for Odin Thiago Holm to return to his former club on loan. He joined the Glasgow side from Vålerenga in 2023 for around £2.6 million. The midfielder has had limited minutes at Celtic and also had his game time restricted during a loan to Los Angeles FC earlier this year. A verbal agreement is now in place between the clubs for the move. The deal is viewed as a straight loan, with no option to buy included at this stage. Holm is expected to travel to Oslo to complete the transfer. Both sides are working to finalise the deal before the deadline, and there is confidence it will be completed in time.
