Celtic announced that Odin Thiago Holm has joined Valerenga on loan until the end of December. Holm is returning to his former club in Norway. The 23-year-old is under contract with Celtic until May 2028.

Odin Thiago Holm, who is 23, has moved on loan from Celtic to Valerenga. He will remain with the Norwegian club until the end of the Norwegian season, at which point the move will become permanent until 2026. Valerenga boss Joacim Jonsson said that Holm has had some troubled years with injuries but has been completely healthy since January. Jonsson added that they all know the qualities a healthy Odin Thiago Holm has and are looking forward to having him return, stating that he thinks this is an excellent solution for all parties. Speaking to the club's website, Holm said it feels very good to be in place and that while it has taken a long time, everything is now secure on deadline day. He added that the last couple of years have been difficult with many things out of his control, but he knows the people at Valerenga and they know him and his body. Holm felt it was very right to come back to try to restart his career.

TV2 in Norway reports that Odin Thiago Holm is close to re-joining Valerenga on loan from Celtic. The player is reportedly close to leaving Celtic on loan after health issues in LA. He joined MLS side LAFC last January, but made just five appearances for the club, revealing that he had been suffering from a rare health condition which left him feeling as if he were half-paralysed. As he seeks to rebuild his career, he is now expected to return on loan to his native Norway.
