Romanian goalkeeper Octavian Vâlceanu, 28, has signed with CFR Cluj as a free agent after previously playing for Concordia Chiajna. The club officially announced the transfer on its Facebook page, welcoming the new player. Vâlceanu has considerable experience in Romania, having played for clubs such as Petrolul Ploiești, Gaz Metan Mediaș, FC Voluntari, and Academica Clinceni during his career. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently €200k, having reached a peak of €900k in December 2021.
