Nuno Tavares leaving Lazio?

According to CalcioMercato, Lazio have received offers from Russia for Nuno Tavares.

According to Tuttomercato, Nuno Tavares has requested a transfer from Lazio. The player has not played for over a month, since being substituted at halftime during the Lazio-Bologna game, and has been on the bench for five matches since then. Al-Ittihad is making efforts to sign him, but an agreement with Lazio has not yet been reached. The Italian club is seeking approximately 20 million euros for the Portuguese player.

Nuno Tavares will transfer this month, according to reports from Sky Germany and Sky Sports. Tavares has unnamed suitors from Saudi Arabia, but he could also return to the Premier League. Lazio will demand more than the €6m they paid for the player. Arsenal included a 20 per cent sell-on clause in the deal when they sold Tavares to Lazio.

CalcioMercato reports that Nuno Tavares is one of the players leaving Formello. A fee of at least 15 million is required for Tavares, and 35% of that fee is to be paid to Arsenal.

According to Tuttomercato, Lazio hopes to receive offers for Nuno Tavares close to twenty million euros, but there is a possibility the club will have to accept lower amounts due to recent difficulties.

According to CalcioMercato, Lazio is considering a potential sale of Tavares in order to manage their wage bill, reduce high wage costs, and keep finances in order.

According to Tuttomercato, Nuno Tavares has opened to the option of a move to the Arab market. Lazio has reportedly already considered this option and would not oppose the departure of the former Arsenal player. The club would like to try to collect at least 20 million, and with a 40% future resale percentage due to Arsenal, the amount would be reduced to about 12 million. Offers that were received and refused in the summer were over 30 million. The report adds that there is a market in Arabia and it has never been a problem for Saudi clubs to meet the requests of European clubs.

According to Tuttomercato, Nuno Tavares is available to leave Lazio for a fee of €20-25 million. The club would be required to pay 40% of any resale fee to Arsenal. Having purchased the Portuguese player for five million, Lazio is aware of the potential for a significant profit, although it is considered unlikely they will receive the €30-40 million the club had hoped for last year.

Tuttomercato reports that the Portuguese player would have been among the main candidates for a transfer without the block imposed on the summer market. His characteristics do not seem to align with the playing philosophy of the new coach, and the player has repeatedly expressed his desire to relaunch his career in Europe.

Lazio has placed a veto on any potential transfers of 25-year-old Portuguese defender Nuno Tavares due to a blocked market, preventing the club from reinforcing the team. This decision is aimed at retaining key players amidst transfer restrictions. Tavares, who has a contract with the club until 2029, has a current market value of €25.00m according to Transfermarkt. Several clubs have been linked with the player, including Al Hilal and Juventus.
