Noah Weißbach Transfer from RB Leipzig U19 to SV Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen had shown interest in acquiring Noah Weißbach for their Regionalliga reserve team, and his transfer for the new season has been confirmed. Although Weißbach's contract with Leipzig was nearing its end, negotiations were deemed necessary because of a potential training compensation for RB Leipzig. It was decided by Leipzig to release Weißbach on a free transfer. The talks regarding Weißbach's transfer were managed independently of the ongoing negotiations between RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen about another player, Ole Werner. Despite the possibility of a training compensation, Leipzig chose to allow Weißbach to leave without any transfer fee. The young Slovenian U19 national player, who initially joined Leipzig from Cottbus and participated in 29 matches last season for Leipzig’s U19 team, including six in the European Youth League, is expected to strengthen Bremen’s Regionalliga squad.
