United, along with Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Leeds and West Ham, are believed to have held talks with Noah Sadiki, a 20-year-old DR Congo international. United are closely monitoring the Sunderland midfielder, whom they have been watching since before his €17 million transfer to the club. Chelsea’s BlueCo owners also showed interest, initially considering him for Strasbourg but now potentially for Chelsea due to his impressive start in the Premier League. He has made 15 appearances in the league this season. Sunderland, who signed Sadiki in July 2025 on a contract to 2030, has no desire to sell him next summer, although a €60 million offer could persuade them. The player is thought to be happy at Sunderland but has Champions League ambitions. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €25.00m.
