Noah Makanza Transfer from Mechelen to Helmond Sport

Noah Makanza, a 20-year-old talent nurtured by KV Mechelen, is set to spend a year on loan at the affiliated club Helmond Sport. This arrangement aims to provide Makanza with increased playing time and an opportunity for further development. Tom Caluwé, KV Mechelen's technical director, mentioned that this move represents a crucial step for Makanza, who must secure a spot in Helmond's first team. The loan is a component of the cooperative relationship between the two clubs. Makanza faces stiff competition in KV Mechelen's A-kern, with players such as Schoofs, Hammar, Mrabti, and Teague, making the loan a strategic decision to gain experience. Although Makanza, who captained Jong KVM last season, has yet to make his debut for Mechelen's first team, he has often been included on the bench. The club is hopeful that he can make a mark at the Dutch second-tier club and eventually return to vie for a position in Mechelen's A-kern.
