Nino Transfer from Zenit to Cruzeiro

Journalist André Hernan reports that Zenit continues to categorically refuse to release central defender Nino. Hernan adds that the club's position regarding the sale of the player has not changed in recent weeks. This refusal hinders clubs interested in Nino from making offers for his transfer. Cruzeiro is monitoring the 28-year-old player.

Nino declined an offer from Cruzeiro. Ekrem Konur reports that Zenit is ready to start negotiations with clubs interested in Nino starting from €10 million. Nino wants to return to Brazil. His current contract with Zenit is valid until summer 2028.

Cruzeiro inquired about signing Nino and received the same negative response about the transfer as other interested clubs.

According to ESPN BR, Cruzeiro has shown interest in signing Nino, who is a former Fluminense player and is currently at Zenit. Cruzeiro is expected to compete with Fluminense, which is the player's preferred choice if he returns to Brazil.

Journalist Pablo Oliveira reports on his social media page X that Cruzeiro, Fluminense, and Vasco da Gama are all showing interest in Zenit defender Nino. Both Cruzeiro and Fluminense made inquiries but were deterred by the price set by the Saint Petersburg club. Vasco da Gama submitted a formal offer of €5 million for the Brazilian player, which the Blue-White-Sky Blues rejected. Zenit values the 28-year-old defender at €15-18 million and is not prepared to sell him before next summer.
