Slovan Bratislava's sporting director, Róbert Vittek, stated that the club has received concrete offers for 20-year-old Slovakian winger Nino Marcelli and that he is currently in high demand for a transfer. In the recent past, Italian clubs including AC Milan and AS Roma were interested in the talented youth international, who has 23 caps and 7 goals for Slovakia U21. Assistant coach Boris Kitka confirmed for ŠPORT.sk that there is renewed significant interest in Marcelli from Italian and Spanish clubs. Kitka explained that while interest was very high last winter it had calmed down, but the interest is now high again. Nino Marcelli has a contract at Tehelné pole until the summer of 2027, and the club's management allegedly values the player at up to 10 million euros. This season, Marcelli has scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists in 18 Niké Liga appearances. The player's valuation has risen over the past two years; in summer 2024, the club's demand was reportedly €4 million, and a €5 million offer was reportedly rejected in November 2024.
