Nikolaos Christogeorgos, a 26-year-old Greek goalkeeper, has had recent performances against AEK that have led to summer transfer rumors linking him with the club. It is reported that for AEK to pursue a transfer, they would need to either sell Strakosha or be released from the contract of their Italian goalkeeper, Brignoli. Brignoli's contract is described as heavy and runs until 2027. Neither of these options is considered easy at this stage.
