Nikola Knežević has transferred to Wieczysta Kraków from OFK Belgrad on a permanent basis. After passing medical tests, Knežević signed a contract to play in Kraków which is valid until June 30, 2028. The official website of Wieczysta Kraków reported that the transfer fee exceeded half a million euro, making it the most expensive purchase in the club's history. The club's previous record transfer was Michał Trąbka for 350 thousand euro. This season, Knežević has played in 19 matches and scored three goals.

Wieczysta Kraków is close to completing the biggest transfer in its history by acquiring Nikola Knežević from OFK Belgrad for a fee exceeding 500,000 euros. This purchase will set a new record for the team owned by Wojciech Kwiecień, surpassing the 350,000 euros previously paid for Michał Trąbka. The transfer of the 22-year-old defensive midfielder, who is a Crvena zvezda youth product, also is one of the most significant in the history of the I liga, where only Lechia Gdańsk has previously spent more on single players.
