Niko Kovac will take over Borussia Dortmund after the game in Heidenheim on Saturday. Lars Ricken, Dortmund's sporting director, confirmed the agreement in a DAZN interview. Kovac is currently without a club. The confirmation came shortly after Dortmund's 3-1 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk. Ricken stated, “We have reached a fundamental agreement with Niko Kovac. He will take charge of the team on Sunday.”
