To keep the player, Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krösche is said to be in regular contact with Ilicevic's family to outline a clear plan for his future with the club. The club intends for Ilicevic to sign a development contract on his 16th birthday on October 30th. Ilicevic has been capped five times for Germany's U16 team, scoring two goals. In the 2025/2026 season, he has made 14 appearances for Eintracht's U19 side, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
