Santos might pursue AEK's Niclas Eliasson, although the club is currently under a transfer ban. Fellow Brazilian side Internacional are also pursuing the Swedish-Brazilian winger, while Botafogo has denied any interest. A document, which journalist Luís Carlos Reche claims is Internacional's official offer, proposes a loan for the 30-year-old with a €300,000 fee. The proposal is said to include a purchase option of €2.8 million, which would effectively be €2.5 million as the loan fee would be deducted if the option is exercised. Eliasson has been capped nine times by Sweden and is under contract with AEK until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
