N'Golo Kanté Transfer from Al Ittihad to Al Hilal
Al Hilal is in talks with Al Ittihad regarding the potential loan of N'Golo Kanté for the Club World Cup. Both clubs are under the ownership of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF). While an agreement has not yet been finalized, there is optimism about closing the deal, as reported by 'The Athletic'. The negotiations are taking place just as the deadline for registering new players for the Club World Cup approaches, ending today, June 10. Al Hilal, which earned a spot in the tournament as the 2021 Asian Champions League winners, is feeling the pressure to finalize last-minute additions. Should the deal go through, Kanté would be the sole new acquisition for Al Hilal's newly appointed coach, Simone Inzaghi, amidst rumors of other possible signings. Kanté, who moved to Al Ittihad on a free transfer in 2023, has been an instrumental player under Laurent Blanc, providing four goals and three assists in 31 appearances this season.
