Dundee United are interested in signing Nemanja Krsmanović on a free transfer. St Johnstone, a fellow Scottish Premiership club, also reportedly holds an interest in the player. The 23-year-old left-back is a free agent after his contract with FK Spartak Subotica expired following the club's relegation from the Serbian top flight. The former Serbia under-21 international has one cap for the side and can also play in a more advanced role on the left. It is understood that he has received offers from two clubs. It is believed that MTK Budapest and Ateras Tripolis have submitted contracts to Krsmanović, who has not yet decided on his future. United's interest coincides with reports that Will Ferry might leave Tannadice for a move to Czechia. In the 2025/2026 season, Krsmanović made 27 domestic league appearances for his club, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €350k.
