Journalist Fran Campos Vázquez reported that Olympiacos and Panathinaikos were among the clubs that made official offers to Betis for the player and that Deossa himself showed a negative stance towards the possibility. Spanish sources state that the Colombian footballer has rejected a total of six proposals.

According to the Spanish outlet Diario de Sevilla, Olympiacos are waiting for Nelson Deossa to decide on his future. The Real Betis midfielder continues to refute the list of clubs interested in him as he aims to have a role in the team under Manuel Pellegrini.

Nelson Deossa, a 26-year-old Colombian central midfielder for Real Betis, has been proposed to Olympiacos. He was previously linked with Panathinaikos, and it is reported that at least one major Greek team is currently pursuing him.
