According to Matteo Moretto in MARCA, Real Sociedad includes Zézé among the players they are interested in for the left-footed centre-back position they are seeking to fill. A factor complicating a potential transfer is the €20 million fee paid for the player one year ago, a figure considered very high for the club. Interest from other teams, including Galatasaray, is another complicating factor. One year prior, while Zézé was at Nantes, Villarreal had expressed interest in him. However, the player and the French club accepted a more financially beneficial proposal from Neom SC. Nantes also reportedly rejected a verbal offer of approximately €20 million from Bournemouth in May 2025.
