Baxter, who joined Watford on a free transfer from Bolton Wanderers last summer, has informed the Hornets that he wants to secure regular playing time. After primarily serving as a deputy to Egil Selvik last season and making eight appearances, he is now likely to join Tom Cleverley at Home Park. His contract with Watford is scheduled to expire in June 2027, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €700k.
