According to Voetbalnieuws.be, the transfer of Naoufal Bohamdi-Kamoni from Anderlecht to Westerlo has been confirmed on Westerlo's official channels. Bohamdi-Kamoni, a youth product of Anderlecht who played for RSCA Futures, signed a 3.5-year contract. Westerlo acquired him on a free transfer as he had no professional contract. Several Belgian clubs, including KAA Gent and Zulte Waregem, were interested, and Westerlo acted quickly to complete the signing.

Sacha Tavolieri reports that Naoufal Bohamdi-Kamoni has signed a contract with Westerlo until June 2029. Bohamdi-Kamoni has one goal in eight matches for RSCA Futures this season and had been hesitating to sign his first professional contract at Lotto Park. Several top-flight clubs, including AA Gent and Zulte Waregem, were also interested, but a strong proposal from Westerlo convinced him. According to the report, only the official announcement is pending.

Naoufal Bohamdi-Kamoni does not have a contract at Anderlecht and is, in principle, available on a free transfer. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports that Westerlo has submitted a strong, three-year contract offer for Naoufal Bohamdi-Kamoni. Westerlo is considered to be in the leading position to sign him. Anderlecht, referred to as Mauve, responded with a counter-offer that is considered insufficient. Bohamdi-Kamoni is an 18-year-old Belgian and Moroccan winger who currently plays for RSCA Futures. During the 2025/2026 season, he has made one appearance in the Challenger Pro League and provided two assists.
