Venezuelan international Nahuel Ferraresi was involved in a negotiation with Bahia that also included Rodrigo Nestor. Through the agreement, Bahia will pay São Paulo R$ 12.5 million over three years, which will be used to offset a R$ 11.2 million debt São Paulo had with Grupo City for the defender's signing. The 27-year-old, who has 42 caps for his country, has also attracted interest from Botafogo. According to ESPN, this interest is currently superficial and has not advanced to an inquiry. Ferraresi is regarded as a player trusted by coach Hernan Crespo and is part of the plans for 2026, but he is not considered non-transferable if a significant offer is made.
