Nahir Besara Transfer from Hammarby to Legia Warszawa
Legia Warsaw submitted an offer for Hammarby's Nahir Besara, which was subsequently turned down. Besara, who serves as Hammarby's captain, acknowledged that there was indeed some interest; however, the offer did not even reach him because the sporting director, Mikael Hjelmberg, immediately dismissed it. Besara stressed that his main focus is on Hammarby, highlighting that as the team captain, his priority lies in aiding the team's development and securing victories. He is well-regarded by the club, the fans, and the director Mikael Hjelmberg. Besara returned to Hammarby in February 2022 from Örebro SK, having previously played for them between 2013 and 2015, and his contract is set to expire at the end of the current year. This situation permits him to negotiate a free transfer during the upcoming winter transfer window. Despite Legia Warsaw's interest, he reiterated that moving to another team is not currently an option, as his full attention remains on his present club.
