Werder Bremen has shown interest in KV Mechelen's Spanish goalkeeper Nacho Miras as a potential replacement for their current keeper Mio Backhaus, who might leave the club. Niclas Borner reported on Werder Bremen's interest in the 28-year-old, adding that Miras was named the best goalkeeper in Belgium. Miras is under contract with KV Mechelen until mid-2029 and has a market value of 1.5 million euros, but the club will want a higher sum. A transfer would result in a profit for KV Mechelen, as they signed him on a free transfer from KMSK Deinze a year and a half ago. Anderlecht has also been linked with the goalkeeper.
