Naby Keïta Transfer from SV Werder Bremen to Ferencváros

According to Kicker, Naby Keita has made a permanent move to Ferencvaros Budapest. SV Werder Bremen announced the move on Wednesday evening. Following the conclusion of the loan, both parties agreed to a permanent transfer. The clubs have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer.

According to Bild, Naby Keïta has completed a transfer to Ferencvaros Budapest, leaving Werder Bremen this winter. The midfielder has signed with the Hungarian club on a free transfer until 2027. Ferencvaros had a purchase option as part of a previous loan which they did not exercise, even though Keïta made 28 appearances. Keïta's contract with Bremen was due to expire in the upcoming summer, and Werder will now remove his salary of approximately 1.5 million euros per year from their payroll.

According to Bild, Ferencváros did not exercise the purchase option for Naby Keita but are negotiating to acquire him under more favorable terms than the original option. A Monday morning article states that Ferencváros remains the favorite to permanently acquire Keita. Werder Bremen's sporting director, Clemens Fritz, told DeichStube that they are working on a good solution and are in continuous contact with Ferencváros regarding the player. Fritz also told DeichStube that nothing has been finalized yet.

Ferencvaros Budapest is working to sign Naby Keita on a permanent basis. Keita's loan at the club is set to run until January 15. The Hungarian club will not use the agreed purchase option, and a decision is expected soon.

Naby Keïta's loan to Ferencváros Budapest officially ends in the upcoming week, and Werder Bremen would prefer to sell him permanently before his return. It is still possible that Ferencváros Budapest will use a purchase option. Clemens Fritz told 'DeichStube' that they are working on a good solution and are in good talks with Ferencváros Budapest, but he added that nothing is final yet.

Naby Keita's loan contract at Ferencváros is valid until mid-January and the Hungarian club has a purchase option. According to deichstube.de, the option has not yet been activated. DeichStube reports that so far no concrete signal has been sent from Budapest to Bremen about an intention for a permanent transfer. Ferencváros is actively working on the player's situation.

According to Africafoot, Ferencváros and Naby Keïta have started discussions to continue their association, with negotiations underway for the possible activation of a purchase option. Discussions have already taken place multiple times. A source close to the player confirmed to Africafoot that Naby Keïta feels very good at Ferencváros, loves Hungary, wants to continue there, and is willing to make financial sacrifices. The main obstacle in the current discussions is the salary. Werder Brême currently pays his full annual salary of 1.5 million euros. Ferencváros will need to make a financial effort to complete the deal before the loan concludes, and Werder Brême expects an offer of approximately 1 million euros to approve a permanent transfer. The outcome will depend on the agreement between the two clubs. Another meeting is scheduled between Ferencváros, Naby Keïta, and Werder Brême, with a final decision expected before the loan concludes.

If Ferencváros does not exercise their purchase option on Naby Keita, he is set to officially return to Werder Bremen in the winter. At Werder Bremen, he earns approximately 1.5 million euros per year. It is possible that Keita will be loaned again or transferred permanently, but both options are difficult because there is little demand for him. Keita appears to be happy at Ferencváros, and according to rblive.de, a permanent transfer to the club would probably be the best solution for all parties.

Ferencvaros has an option for the permanent purchase of Naby Keita, but it is not yet known if they will exercise it. Sporting director Peter Niemeyer stated to Bild that there has not yet been a discussion with Ferencvaros, that there is no set deadline, and that discussions will happen at the appropriate time.

Naby Keïta is on loan at Ferencváros Budapest until the end of the year. Sporting Director Peter Niemeyer told Bild that a permanent transfer would be the most beneficial outcome for all involved parties. Niemeyer also stated that there has not yet been any contact regarding a permanent signing.

Laola1 reported that Werder Bremen confirmed Naby Keita will definitely not be part of the club's first team again, with club official Peter Niemeyer reiterating to Deichstube that it is excluded for Keita to return to the professional squad after his loan expires. Hajnal Tamás previously shared at the IX. Fradi Szakmai Nap that Ferencvaros acquired Keita for 2025 on very favorable terms, with the agreement including a 12-month loan and a very favorable buyout option, leaving all decisions in Ferencvaros's hands. Keita accepted a contract containing performance-related bonuses. According to a report from Üllői129, the terms are economically favorable for Ferencvaros. Csakfoci reports that Ferencvaros are very satisfied with Keita's performance and have a close relationship with him and his agency. The report adds that the club's buyout option is favorable and would not require significant expenditure. However, an agreement must also be reached with Keita, likely with different terms, as previous statements indicate most of his salary was covered by the German club, meaning Ferencvaros would have a greater financial burden in the future. Remaining at Ferencvaros is seen as a positive for Keita, as the club helped him regain form and he enjoys football again, with international competition virtually guaranteed.

Naby Keita was loaned to Ferencváros from Werder Bremen with an option to buy included in the contract, valid until the end of 2025. Currently, it's uncertain if Ferencváros will exercise this option as Keita's performance in the Hungarian league hasn't been entirely convincing. If Ferencváros does not exercise the option by December 31st, Keita will return to Werder Bremen but only for a maximum of six months, as he has no future at the club according to the sports director Peter Niemeyer.

Naby Keïta's future at SV Werder Bremen remains uncertain as the club has made it clear that he has no future there, regardless of the change in management from Ole Werner to Horst Steffen. The club's stance is firm, as stated by Peter Niemeyer. Keïta had a loan spell at Ferencváros in Hungary, where he celebrated a championship victory and played in eleven official matches, totaling 579 minutes. He has only appeared five times for Werder Bremen since joining in the summer of 2023, partly due to misconduct off the field.

Ferencváros has decided not to exercise the purchase option included in Naby Keita's loan agreement from Werder Bremen. The decision on this matter is due in the winter, as Keita is on loan until December 31.

Naby Keita, who is currently playing as a midfielder for Werder Bremen, has signed a loan agreement with Ferencvaros that will last until the end of the season. He has already participated in the official photoshoot wearing the new club's jersey. The transfer is set to become effective on January 15, coinciding with the opening of the transfer window in Hungary. Keita had previously transferred from Liverpool to Werder Bremen as a free agent in the summer of 2023. Although he had the chance to 'start anew' at Bremen, his market value significantly decreased from 12 million euros to 1 million euro, and he has not played a single match this season for the German club.

Naby Keïta has been loaned to Ferencváros, with the Hungarian club, coached by Pascal Jansen, securing an option to purchase him. Back in 2018, Liverpool spent sixty million euros to bring Keïta over from RB Leipzig. During his time with the English club, the midfielder made 84 appearances, contributing to their Premier League victory in 2020 and their Champions League triumph in 2019. However, following his transfer to Werder Bremen, Keïta's career did not flourish as expected, with the player featuring in only five games over nearly eighteen months. Werder Bremen has opted to loan Keïta to Ferencváros for a year, a move anticipated to enhance the quality of Jansen's team.

Naby Keita is set to depart Werder Bremen in January. The Guinean player, who played a crucial role for Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp from 2018 to 2023 and secured a Champions League victory, found it challenging to replicate his performance in Germany. In April, after participating in only five matches, he reportedly had a confrontation with the club and refused to take to the field during the match against Bayer Leverkusen, which resulted in his exclusion from the team and a fine. Although his contract runs until 2026, a resolution was pursued to accommodate all parties: the official announcement has been made regarding his loan to Ferencvaros for the duration of a calendar year. The Hungarian club will have the option to make the transfer permanent at the conclusion of 2025.

Naby Keita is in advanced negotiations with Hungarian club Ferencvaros over an initial one-year loan move. The transfer is expected to be finalized within the next 2-3 days, although final details and a medical examination are still pending. This move comes after a failed transfer attempt to Turkey and his suspension from Werder Bremen following a disciplinary issue.

Naby Keïta is set to join Hungarian club Ferencváros, as reported by Sky Sport Germany. Keïta, who was sidelined by Werder Bremen for disciplinary reasons, has been maintaining his fitness with the club's U23 team. Former Liverpool midfielder is expected to arrive at Ferencváros under coach Pascal Jansen within days, pending a medical. The club plans to loan him from January for a year, with a potential permanent move. Keïta's contract with Werder Bremen lasts until mid-2026.
