Instead, the 22-year-old is considering a move to clubs such as PSV, Ajax, or Feyenoord, or major teams in Belgium. Van Brederode, who considers his current club a means to advance his career, revealed that a large Belgian club made an inquiry for him during the winter. He also said that the plan was for him to be sold quickly and that he feels a player should always leave for a good club.
