Myron Boadu Transfer from Monaco to Ajax

Telegraaf.nl reports on the potential transfer of Myron Boadu amidst interest from top Dutch clubs. Myron Boadu was also at the top of Ajax's list as a potential striker reinforcement in case Brian Brobbey is sold. However, despite interest in Brobbey from Stade Rennes and Lille LOSC, no transfer has occurred, allowing PSV to move ahead of Ajax in the pursuit of Boadu.

Ajax is showing advanced interest in Myron Boadu as a potential affordable alternative striker. AS Monaco is willing to let him leave possibly even on a free transfer to get rid of his high salary. Boadu himself is willing to lower his salary demands. He has been training all summer, is very fit, and ready to play immediately.

Myron Boadu, who is presently on loan at VfL Bochum from AS Monaco, could be considered by Ajax if Bochum is open to allowing him to leave during the mid-season transfer window. Boadu's market value is estimated at five million euros, and his contract is valid until mid-2026. Boadu has demonstrated potential in the Bundesliga, participating in nine matches with six starts, scoring five goals, and providing one assist. His speed and ability to make deep runs present a different profile compared to Ajax's current striker, Wout Weghorst. Ajax views him as a potential addition due to his contrasting playing style, which might complement their existing attacking options.
