Plymouth Argyle is reportedly interested in signing Murphy Cooper, an English goalkeeper from Queens Park Rangers, and faces competition from MK Dons, another League One team. The club is looking for two new goalkeepers following Conor Hazard's departure and Luca Ashby-Hammond's release. According to David McIntyre of West London Sport, several League One sides have shown an interest in the 24-year-old over the past couple of years. McIntyre also stated that Plymouth and MK Dons have now indicated they want to sign Cooper, with a permanent deal being a potential option, while a loan is also a possibility. Cooper joined QPR in July 2023 and made 21 appearances in League One and 8 in the Championship during the 2025/2026 season. His current market value is €400k, according to Transfermarkt.
