Bayer Leverkusen is monitoring KV Mechelen's 17-year-old Moroccan-Belgian left-back, Moncef Zekri, for its flank positions for the summer 2026 transfer window. A source close to the matter reports that Zekri's current value is estimated at approximately 4 million euros, while KV Mechelen has set a minimum starting price of 7 million euros, which could be supplemented by 2 million euros in performance-based bonuses. Zekri's contract with the Belgian club runs until June 2028; he has made 16 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season and has been capped 20 times for Morocco's U17 national team.
