Lokomotiv Moscow has requested information regarding the conditions for a potential transfer of Rostov's 27-year-old Iranian winger Mohammad Mohebi, his teammate Kirill Shchetinin, and Dmitri Pestryakov from Akron. All three players, along with Ivan Oleynikov of Krylia Sovetov, are on the Moscow club's shortlist, and it is possible that a concrete offer will be made for one of them. The club's transfer activity comes after its head coach, Mikhail Galaktionov, previously stated that the team needed reinforcements. Mohebi has 32 caps and 12 goals for Iran. His contract with Rostov is until June 30, 2026, and he has a current market value of €2.80m. During the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, he has made 17 appearances, recording one goal and three assists.
