An official announcement from Olympique Lyonnais has confirmed that Mohamed Ouédraogo has joined from Altach. Ouédraogo, who operates as a left wing-back or left-back, turned professional at Altach in 2024 and made 35 appearances in the preceding season. He has been recruited for the purpose of strengthening the left side of the Lyon defense.

According to L'Équipe, Lyon's acquisition of Ouedraogo from Altach has not yet been made official. The full-back is one of Lyon's three first recruits and is not legally permitted to train until the official approval of his contract on July 1st.

Lyon is set to sign left-back Mohamed Ouédraogo from Austrian club Altach on a five-year contract for a fee of 2 million euros, excluding bonuses. The deal can include up to 500,000 euros in potential bonuses. Mohamed Ouédraogo is 23 years old. The transfer was previously revealed by Foot Mercato.
