Mohamed Bayo leaving LOSC Lille?

Mohamed Bayo, who returned from his loan at Royal Antwerp (1 goal, 2 assists in 17 matches), is set to be loaned out again. He will be loaned to Gaziantep FK in Turkey for one season. This is a dry loan without an option to buy, marking his second experience abroad after previously playing for Clermont.

Lille has reached an agreement with Al-Fayha for a loan with an option to buy Mohamed Bayo for 3 million euros, as revealed by journalist Sacha Tavolieri. However, the deal is not finalized as Bayo still needs to agree to join the Saudi team, which finished 13th in the Saudi Pro League last season.

Mohamed Bayo was temporarily brought in by Antwerp in January, but his stay is unlikely to be extended.

LOSC confirms the loan of Mohamed Bayo to Royal Antwerp Football Club. The Guinean international forward joins Antwerp until the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Royal Antwerp FC has received the green light for the transfer of Mohamed Bayo. The player has agreed to the move, and Lille is willing to cooperate with a loan deal. Bayo is expected to be a last-minute reinforcement for Antwerp, serving as a backup for Vincent Janssen. His contract with Lille runs until 2027, and he is seeking more playing time.

Mohamed Bayo is considering a departure due to inconsistent playtime at LOSC Lille. Among the interested clubs is SCO d’Angers, which has shown interest in acquiring him. Despite being under contract until June 2027, Lille is hesitant to let him go during the winter transfer window due to an injury to another striker, Matias Fernandez-Pardo, and potential developments with Jonathan David.

Lille hopes to loan Mohamed Bayo soon to make room for a new forward.
