In recent days, Raja Club Athletic increased its efforts to recruit Mohamed Amine Katiba from Hassania d’Agadir. The club's new sporting director, Rogério Matias, considered Katiba a priority and was working to reach an agreement with Hassania d’Agadir for the player to join Raja's squad for a training camp starting August 17. However, Katiba's father refused a transfer to the Casablanca club, preferring his son to leave the Moroccan league for a professional experience abroad rather than join Raja and continue in Botola Pro. The preference expressed by Katiba's entourage for an experience abroad considerably reduces the chances of the player joining Raja immediately. Raja attempted to convince the player and Hassania d’Agadir, but the father's position could move the situation in a different direction.

According to Africafoot, Raja Club Athletic's new sporting director, Rogério Matias, insists on recruiting Mohamed Amine Katiba and considers the Hassania d’Agadir midfielder a priority. Matias is working to accelerate discussions with Hassania d’Agadir, aiming to finalize the player's arrival as soon as possible so he can join the team's training camp which started on Monday, August 17, in Agadir. Raja seeks to take advantage of delays by Córdoba CF in concluding a transfer for Katiba.

Africafoot reports that Mohamed Amine Katiba is nearing an agreement to sign with Córdoba CF, a club in the Spanish second division. Discussions between the involved parties have reportedly advanced significantly in recent days, and an agreement could potentially be reached soon. The same source states that Córdoba CF has intensified negotiations to finalize the signing of the Moroccan youth international, and that the next few hours could be crucial for completing the deal. Although no document has yet been signed, all parties have indicated their willingness to reach an agreement.

According to Africafoot sources, Le Havre AC has also shown interest in Mohamed Amine Katiba.
