Despite interest from FC Cincinnati, OGC Nice central defender Mohamed Abdelmonem does not intend to leave the club this summer. The 27-year-old Egyptian wishes to continue his career at the club and has also reportedly rejected a lucrative offer from the Gulf. Africafoot reports that the proposal included a salary of approximately €5 million. Abdelmonem is said to have rejected the possibility before any negotiations between clubs started.
