Bologna has recently considered 26-year-old Mitchel Bakker as a replacement for the injured Holm. The Dutch left-back is a free agent after his contract with Atalanta was terminated last June and is currently on trial with NEC Nijmegen. Bakker will have a week to convince the Dutch club's technical staff. The defender has 21 caps for the Netherlands U21 team and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m.
