Misael Jaime, a promising winger from Newell's Old Boys' youth academy, has been permanently transferred to Chacarita. Despite being a talented player, he struggled to secure a place in the first team, playing only eight matches. Newell's Old Boys will retain 15% of the economic rights. Jaime inked a contract with Chacarita for a year and a half, aiming to showcase his skills that were evident in the youth and reserve teams. He made his debut for Newell's first team in 2021 at just 17 years old, under the guidance of coach Germán Burgos, in a match against Lanús. Although he displayed potential, his appearances remained limited, with his last appearance for the first team occurring in October 2024. During his time in the reserve team, Jaime demonstrated his talent, notably scoring in the Clásico de Reserva. His transfer to Chacarita marks a new chapter in his career, and he hopes to fulfill the promise seen in his performances for the youth and reserve squads.
