Hamburger Abendblatt reports that Miro Muheim has received concrete inquiries from two Bundesliga clubs and that these inquiries do not appeal to him. HSV demands a minimum of six million euros for Miro Muheim if a contract extension does not happen.

Sporting director Claus Costa is planning a meeting with Miro Muheim and his advisor before departing for the tournament. If the Swiss player does not make a significant impact at the World Cup, a contract extension is a possibility. A few days ago, Muheim told the Swiss "Blick" that he loves HSV and identifies with the city, the fans, and the club. He noted, however, that his focus is currently only on the end of the season in the league. Muheim added that his future is maybe a topic that will be discussed in the summer and questioned what will happen.

Miro Muheim has expressed that if Hamburger SV fails to achieve promotion to the Bundesliga this season, it will be difficult to retain him.
