The proposed exchange involves 26-year-old Italian Mirko Antonucci, a trequartista owned by Spezia, moving to Carrarese, and Filippo Distefano, an attacker owned by Fiorentina, moving to Bari. The operation is noted as being difficult because it involves four different clubs, but it is considered possible. Antonucci, who is currently on loan at Bari, has made 13 appearances and provided one assist in Serie B this season. The former Italy U20 international has a current market value of €750k. In August 2025, his loan included an option to buy reportedly set at €600,000, while in July 2024 Spezia's asking price was a reported €1.6 million plus bonuses.
