Milton Céliz, a 33-year-old Argentine player and captain of Deportivo Riestra, will go on loan to Barcelona de Ecuador. The midfielder will be loaned for 12 months with a fee and a purchase option. Barcelona de Ecuador will play in the second phase of the Copa Libertadores for finishing third in the final hexagonal of the league and will face Argentinos Juniors. Céliz joined Deportivo Riestra in January 2023, and his contract runs until the end of 2026. His current market value is €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
