VfL Wolfsburg is intensely pursuing the services of Milan van Ewijk, a right-back from Coventry City. The player was previously linked with the Bundesliga club weeks ago. VfL Wolfsburg's coach, Paul Simonis, knows van Ewijk well from their time together at SC Heerenveen, where Simonis was an assistant coach. An agreement is reportedly already in place with the player.
Milan van Ewijk is seeking a new challenge this summer after Coventry City missed promotion to the Premier League. He has attracted interest from VfL Wolfsburg as reported by Soccernews.nl. Van Ewijk is under contract with Coventry until 2027, and Coventry paid 4.3 million euros for him in 2023. The price Coventry will set for him is yet to be determined. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 10.00 million euros.
