On Monday, Fabrizio Romano reported that 1. FC Köln and Tottenham have reached an agreement for the loan of 19-year-old Mikey Moore, with the transfer expected to be finalized by Tuesday. Moore holds both English and Welsh nationality. Köln's intention was to loan the player for a single season, and they had already reached an agreement with him. The club's bosses and coach Roberto De Zerbi have now also given their approval. The deal was recently in doubt after Moore's strong performances led Tottenham's coach to publicly consider keeping him. Köln boss Thomas Kessler commented that his club was not in control of this type of transfer but had remained persistent. Moore is scheduled to have a medical in Köln today and will join for one year with no option to buy. Valued at 18 million euros, Moore is regarded as one of England's top offensive talents and is planned to be used as a playmaker or on the right wing. His contract with Tottenham runs until 2030, and he has scored 7 goals in 14 appearances for the England U19 national team. Other clubs, including Rangers and Borussia Dortmund, had also been linked with the winger.
